Traces of THC at almost undetectable levels may be found in hemp oil, but that is usually due to contamination during the manufacturing process. Hemp oil is high in nutrients and is used as food. It is also used for making cosmetics, soaps, plastics, paints and even bio fuels.

CBD hemp oil is produced from the flowers, stems and stalks of the plant by a process called solvent extraction. Although THC is present in these parts of the plant, the levels of THC in CBD hemp oils are very low. CBD hemp oil is rich in CBD and is used as a health supplement. It does not cause the Marijuana high.

The Use Of CBD Hemp Oil As A Supplement

Both hemp oil and CBD hemp oil are products made from the cannabis plant. Hemp oil is a nutritious food besides having many industrial uses. CBD hemp oil is an entirely different product and used mainly as a health supplement. It is available in a variety of forms like pure oil, tinctures, capsules and topicals. Both these products are legal and neither cause the high associated with marijuana.
